      for Stronger & Safer Communities

Until July 2006 Park Street Infants School was fully-operational ~ already adapted to little people's needs.  The well-maintained Victorian building has superb large windows throughout which creates the light and airy environment that became the hallmark of learning inside this warm and unique space.

~  We know that current provision of services is out-of-step with the complex and demanding needs of family life today.

~  After quality childcare, our primary motivation is to build a family support network which promotes strong & lasting family relationships within a responsible caring community.

Not-for-Profit Day Nursery(2-5yrs) to "SUPER" NURSERY in just 2 years
Our planned  nursery provision will offer childcare of exceptional quality. We know that parents need to walk into a nursery setting and
feel that "it's right". We also understand that for many of us we return to work to make-ends-meet. Key to making that often stressful decision is finding childcare which gives peace of mind that your child's complete well-being is entrusted to carers who, like parents, instinctively know when, and essentially, how to respond beyond the call of duty.
High standards of care flow naturally when the foundations laid are soundly child-focussed and family-centred.

CHILD-CARE AGENCY
To support families we agree with Government calls for greater regulation in the Childcare Industry .
Offering a  homegrown way to support children & working families.
IMAGINE: I
t's the small hours  - you have only just drifted off ~ tomorrow  there's  a conference to attend; a deadline to meet or lecture to deliver  ~ and then at 3am the cry rings out. "Adam " has a  temperature... (it was that partyl!) It's not his fault...but it's "sod's law".! So, as we all do - we assess our child's health and if not an emergency we give paracetamol, a cold flannel and then after we've found  the sickbowl - crawl up on the floor with a blanket and hope for two miracles 1. That our child is well enough for pre/ school and 2. we  manage to get some sleep.
So, just what are your choices?:- Call your Mum - but she lives in Edinburgh! Give a "holding" dose of calpol and send him to school?  Take him to the office ? OR, and as what usually happens,  take another day of Leave and compromise  the annual family holiday.? Whatever you choose the price is high.
Sleep easy! In the morning you can get on the phone and speak to  the people who've "been there, done that and now wear the T-Shirt". We are The Family Solutions Company and we exist to support  the changing needs of  the family. We will know your individual requirements because you will be one of our special clients. We can be there to fill the gap when you simply cannot.

Holiday Playschemes & Clubs 5-12yrs
Pre-requisite: All Staff and volunteers working with children and young people will undergo regular CRB checks
We're proud to announce we are not a baby-sitting service.
Our Team of paid and voluntary workers recognise that good role models and mentors can provide a  valuable life-line for children, young people and adults and assist in making healthy life-choices.

- Designed for children: proudly in collaboration with adults.
Our community ethos means we understand the crucial role which social and emotional wellbeing has to play in preparing children for
life.
-We promote
learning by doing and will use inquiry as a way of engaging chidren in their experience of the natural world. Individual discovery is a sure, powerful and positive way to develop healthy outlooks and foster positive learning pathways.

Inspiring & appealing to children  is necessary to active participation. In full collaboration with parents our team will assist children to make good life choices in areas of personal health and wellbeing. Children and young people need to be shown how their own personal life journey fits into the bigger picture.
We embrace pastoral care as the foundation for teaching life-skills, healthy lifestyles and understanding the role that local and global citizenship has in providing a true sense of personal well-being.
Children who see life differently - through an autistic spectrum - are welcome. We have much to learn from you.
The vision joins
people with places to provide a holistic and joined-up approach to life in Abergavenny..
Activities will take place in association with other local partners and facilitators and will include different localities as part of a 'One-Community' service.
WE KNOW...

Children participate willingly in purposeful activities so we're looking to inject a little excitement into our holiday clubs. We will rise to the challenge to create activities and events that inspire young people to connect experience and learning. So many exciting opportunities exist to be explored in and around Abergavenny.
