Our Goal To provide for the [present & future] social and emotional needs of the people of Abergavenny by purchasing a disused Victorian school, and together with partners, transform it into an Anchor Organisation called     Abergavenny Community Centre Ltd The added-benefits that spring from a vision to  bring people and places together encourages a sense of belonging and a true sense of well-being in children, families and older people living in and around the historic market town of Abergavenny, South Wales. The former PARK STREET INFANTS SCHOOL  is the catalyst - an anchoring point - from where community regeneration and renewal can begin. - We want to hold a public asset in trust not only to meet present needs but to enable future generations to meet theirs too - Ownership of an asset allows us to set local priorities and it frees us from bureacracy -We will operate a not-for-profit business model that recycles profit for local good-use - Community-ownership creates a brand new platform for local enterprise and investment connected with regeneration We made a short film to help us tell our developing story.
